1860's Rubber Tire Steam Engine
Yes it is a Ford! 1978 pickup chassis, but that is where the truck part ends! 6 cylinder motor. 2 front axles that steer and inset tires on the rear axle that are filled with foam so they will never go flat. The big wheels on the side do go around and could be used in parades if you can work out a system to lift them before the train goes into a turn. All the wood on the engine was replaced 2 years ago with exterior plywood and primed on all sides. Repainted each year before parade season using oil based paint for extra shine.
